Designer Conservatory Ceilings

Transform your conservatory into a
usable room......

Is your conservatory too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer?

Here at Brown’s we’ve created the perfect solution. We install a designer ceiling within the conservatory, fully insulated, to regulate the temperature and transform your conservatory into a usable room all year round. Tailor the ceiling contours to your taste, add some lighting and you have a contemporary, stylish room to add to your house. Just some of the benefits include:

  • Warmer in the winter
  • Cooler in the summer
  • No bleaching of the furniture by the sun
  • Reduced heating costs and more energy efficiency
  • Reduced Glare
  • Looks exactly the same from the outside
  • Strengthens your existing conservatory roof
  • Can be installed in every type of conservatory

We are the original creators of this system and the creator has been installing these ceilings in hundreds of conservatories for over 10 Years, developing an improved system to include a ventalation system to prevent condensation.

We are always more than happy to show you completed ceilings that we have carried out. The standard of the finish speaks for itself.

Competitive on price and unparallelled on quality finish.

  1. Will I lose the light in the conservatory?
Having installed many designer ceilings in all different types of conservatory, there is little reduction in light. As the ceiling is usually painted white, light from the windows is reflected, resulting in a beautiful light and fresh feel in the conservatory.
  2. How is the ceiling constructed?
The ceiling is constructed by installing a light-weight aluminium frame with Celotex reflective insulation and may or may not be contoured to the original conservatory roof, depending on your choice of ceiling. As the ceiling is fully insulated it dramatically reduces heat loss. This is then plastered and painted. (Painting is an optional extra)
  3. How will it look from the outside?
As we use reflective insulation, the workings cannot be seen externally, even in glass conservatory roofs.
  4. How long will it take to install?
For the average conservatory, installation takes 2 days (excluding painting). Our team have perfected their method for rapid and tidy installation in just two day. For larger conservatories, this may take slightly longer.
  5. Will I need building regulation? No, as long as the roof externally is over 75% glass or polycarbonate no building regulations are needed. Brown's conservatory ceilings do not alter the exterior of the conservatory at all.

5. Will it damage my conservatory

The ceiling doesn't damage the conservatory at all.  The ceiling system also enhances the strength of the existing roof due to the light aluminum frame and grid like construction.

6. Why should I choose a Brown's ceiling?

The construction of a Brown's conservatory ceiling with its lightweight metal frame is more sustainable than other options. The aluminium allows for the natural expansion and contraction of the conservatory through-out the seasons, unlike wooden systems and includes a ventalation system. Also, a Brown's ceiling is totally independent of the conservatory roof, which means that roof sheets can be replaced, if necessary, without any problem. We can also include a conservatory MOT (upon request) so that we can be sure you will get the maximum benefit out of your conservatory ceiling for a long time to come.
The nature of our excellent insulation allows sufficient air gap for maximum noise reduction and the installation of lighting, whilst maintaining the same U-Values over the entire area of the conservatory roof. Each of our ceilings is fitted by the same team so our quality of workmanship is consistent in every ceiling we undertake. For more information please ask one of our team.

The work was carried out in a most professional and efficient manner, which reflected terry’s considerable knowledge of the building industry...
We viewed one of brown’s completed projects, and were so impressed we asked him to quote for our conservatory conversion...
Contrary to this industry’s normal aggressive selling techniques, we were impressed by the lack of pressure selling; when the project was completed it was more than apparent that the final product sold itself...
